Who can enrol in IV Therapy Academy Australia Courses?
Our programs are designed for appropriately qualified registered healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors, Paramedics, Dentists, and other eligible AHPRA-registered clinicians. Eligibility may vary depending on the specific course and your scope of practice.

Do I need prior cannulation experience?
No, prior IV cannulation experience is not essential. However, due to the high volume of theoretical, clinical, and practical learning content covered throughout our programs, we strongly recommend that participants have a solid foundational understanding of basic anatomy, patient care, and clinical practice.
Our training is designed to support both clinicians who are completely new to IV therapy and those looking to advance or refresh their existing skills. We provide comprehensive education in cannulation techniques, vein assessment, infusion preparation, safety protocols, troubleshooting, and hands-on practical training to help build confidence and competence in a structured and supportive environment.

What is the duration of the Master Class
Our Byron Bay Master Class is an immersive 3-day experience:

Will I learn about Compliance & Governance?
Absolutely. Clinical governance, patient safety, documentation, informed consent, scope of practice, and regulatory awareness form a core part of our training philosophy.
Will I have access to prescribing Doctors?
We provide guidance around compliant prescribing pathways and introduce eligible affiliates to independent prescribing and clinical governance support services where appropriate.
Can I start my own IV clinic after training?
Our programs are designed to support clinicians in integrating these services into existing practices or launching new wellness businesses. We provide guidance around operations, documentation, branding, systems, and business setup considerations.
Is accommodation included?
Unfortunately, no. Our curriculum is advanced and high volume. You get access to our prescribing Doctors and Head Pharmacist, so every dollar goes back into your training and support.
Do you provide certification?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete the required training and assessments receive certification of completion and CPD-aligned education documentation where applicable.
We do not simply teach IV therapy. We help clinicians build safe, compliant, and sustainable wellness practices through a
complete ecosystem of education, clinical governance, business support, prescriber pathways, and ongoing mentorship.

Do you supply us with vitamins?
No. Vitamins, Medical Weight Loss and Peptide compounds are schedule 4 medications and must be prescribed by a Doctor and provided by our compound pharmacy.
